PRF(Platelet-Rich Fibrin)
Your safety and comfort is our priority
What is PRF(Platelet-Rich Fibrin)?
PRF, or Platelet-Rich Fibrin, is a concentration of platelets and growth factors derived from your own blood that helps accelerate healing and tissue regeneration. In dentistry, PRF is pressed into a membrane as a kind of natural healing bandage to be placed in extractions, over bone grafts, etc.

How is PRF Done?
-
Blood Draw: A small amount of your blood is taken, similar to a lab test.
-
PRP Preparation: The blood is spun in a centrifuge and pulled out with a syringe to isolate the PRP. The PRP is then mixed with bone graft material.
-
(opt.) Bone Placement: The graft material is placed in the treatment site.
-
Sutures are used to close the site.

Why use PRF?
-
Natural and biocompatible (from your own blood)
-
Accelerates healing
-
Reduces post-op pain and swelling
-
Improves tissue and bone regeneration
-
Protects wounds from particles and can hold in bone grafts
